Online Admissions 2010-11 Instructions

 

Requisites for Submission of Application

• A Candidate shall submit the application only after the declaration of the result of the Qualifying Examination for the course in which the Candidate is seeking Admission.

 

• The Candidate must read the conditions of eligibility as given in the prospectus available on www.gnduadmissions.org and must ensure regarding his/her eligibility for the Admission before filling the online Application Form.

 

• The Candidate shall submit the Application Form only after a gap of minimum one working day from the day on which Application Fee is deposited with the bank.

 

How to Apply

 

          The Candidate is to log on to www.gnduadmissions.org to access the home page of the ‘ONLINE SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION’.  

 

Procedure for depositing application fee

 

          The Candidate shall have to deposit the Application fee in any branch of State Bank of Patiala, after taking the print of Deposit Slip (in triplicate) through the procedure given below:

 

Step I

            Click on Bank form link on the home page of www.gnduadmissions.org

Step II

• Select the Department and the Course.
• Fill in the Name.
• Click on Submit button
• A page displaying the particulars filled is displayed. The Candidate can edit the particulars by clicking on the Edit button. If the Candidate is satisfied with the particulars filled in, he/ she should click on Lock button.
• Once the Candidate clicks on Lock button, a unique Slip ID will be generated and the deposit slip (in triplicate) showing all the particulars shall appear on the screen.
• The Candidate is to take a printout of the Deposit Slip by clicking on the Print button.  

     

Step III

 

• The Candidate shall go to a branch of State Bank of Patiala along with the Deposit Slip after filling in the denomination details.
• The Bank will keep one copy of the Deposit Slip and return two copies with the Journal ID written on it.
• At the end of the day, the Bank shall submit a record of all the deposit slips. This record will be used for validation of the Application Fee record submitted by the Candidate.

 

   

Procedure for filling up Application Form

 

          The Candidate shall submit the Application Form only after a gap of minimum one working day from the day on which Application Fee is deposited with the bank.

 

Step I

            Click on Admission link on the home page of www.gnduadmissions.org

Step II

            Fill in the Deposit Slip ID. The Department Name, Course and the name of the Candidate shall appear on the screen.

 

Step III

             The Application Fee particulars filled by the Candidate will be validated against the record submitted by the Bank.

    

Step IV

            Fill in desired particulars on the Application Form. Fields marked with red star (*) marks are mandatory. The Guidelines for filling the particulars on the Application Form are available on the link ‘Guidelines for filling Application Form Particulars’.

Step V

            The Candidate is to click on the Submit button after filling in all the particulars.

Step VI

            Once the Candidate clicks on the Submit button, a page will appear showing particulars filled by the candidate. The candidate will have an option to edit the filled particulars or lock the application. Once Lock button is pressed, a print version of filled form will appear with a unique ID.

 

            The candidate must take print out of this form and paste an attested photograph on the specified space. The candidate must bring this form at the time of counseling.  

 

Important Note:- Candidates seeking Admission in B.Sc. Courses should select B.Sc. (Sciences) or B.Sc. (Humanities) as applicable as a Department.

 

Procedure for preparation of Merit Lists

          On expiry of the last date of submission of Application Form, the forms shall be sent to the respective departments. After normalization of the marks secured by the Candidates in the Qualifying Exam, the Merit List will be prepared and published on the website www.gnduadmissions.org
